Brake Lever

Yesterday I finished the bushes for the brake lever and the electrical cover:

 

Bend me stop me

Bike was off the lift but I found that the fork stops were bent allowing the forks to hit the tank. I got the bent stops out of the frame and machined new stops. Tank and forks no longer touch. The side stand needed more bend so back on the lift for some more heat.

Finish the Frickin Bike!

Headlight wiring (minor) is the last thing on the list then - oil - time the motor - add gas - run.
I have to see how the bike sits on the side stand. I put the torch on it and bent it a bit but I may need more bend.

Ran Out of Welding Gas

It will likely be next weekend for pickup. Need to weld on the spring mount and the electrical cover plate mount. A couple of minor things then the timing and start-up.
